Oh how I adore finger rhymes.
I have sang all of these countless times, except for the butterfly one. That is one I have known, and tried to sing once, but stumbled. Now I have translated it into English (kind of, semi), and so I look forward to sharing it in the next few weeks.
You will see below little videos of each of the finger rhymes and then below that, the words.
I hope you like them as much as I do.
In our programs with children under six, we normally connect a finger rhyme to our oral story. The story and the finger rhymed are also themed in to connect with our cooking activity too.
I do hope you enjoy these. Please share them with any educators or parents you think might enjoy them too.
